In the friendly, quiet village of Puntagorda you'll find this well kept apartment. Casa Lucia is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants.
From the terrace you have a fantastic panoramic view of the mountains, the village and the Atlantic Ocean.
The terrace is a perfect place for a breakfast in the morning sun.
At the end of the day you can enjoy a good glass of Traviesa, the wine of Puntagorda, whilst watching an impressive sunset.
Casa Lucia is suitable for 1 or 2 people.

Casa Lucia (1) is built next to the owner's house (2) and has its own entrance and terrace. A second terrace is in the garden.

The owners respect your privacy and will not disturb you.
They are always ready to help if needed.

The 2 spacious terraces have garden furniture, sun beds and parasols. Both terraces have sea view and views up to the mountain and down over the village towards the Atlantic Ocean. Perfect places to enjoy a sunny breakfast in the morning and a stunning sunset at night.

Accommodation
Casa Lucia has a living room with open plan kitchen, 1 bedroom and a large shower room. Every room in the apartment has a sea view and the door opens onto the terrace adjacent to the flower garden.

		In the living room you'll find 2 comfortable chairs, dining table with chairs and a cupboard. There is a JVC mini CD/cassette hifi system.
In the kitchen you'll find a refrigerator, 4 hob gas stove, microwave, coffee machine, electric juicer, toaster and a good selection of kitchen utensils. Kitchen towels are available.

The 2 single beds have good mattresses, there are bedside tables and a wardrobe.

Spacious shower room with shower, wash basin and WC.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma. It is in the rural north-west of the island with 2100 inhabitants and is about 1.5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda village has various shops, 2 supermarkets, butcher, a dispensing chemist, doctor, dentist, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, library, Lnternet cafes and a public swimming pool (summer). On Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling fresh local farm produce including local wine, cheese, cigars, cakes and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied marked walking paths, view points, some old windmills and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground. The area above the village is covered in pine forests, the lower areas towards the cliffs are covered with shrubs and cactus.
There is access to the sea at El Puerto with a tiny pool and rocks but no beach. In the summer months you can swim in the ocean. It is worth a visit if only for the views along the cliffs and the coast.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos. There are walking paths along to Tijarafe, Las Tricias, Garafia, and El Tablado. A taxi will drop you at the Roque de Los Muchachos so that you can walk down to Puntagorda.
In January to March the hillsides of Puntagorda are covered in flowering almond trees. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
Puntagorda is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses and shops. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
